Aloe
Vera is a species of succulent plant, probably originating from North Africa,
but which now grows widely in many tropical and temperate regions of
the world. Extracts
from the plant have been used medicinally for over 3500 years.
In
India it's known as ghritkumari
or gheekvar,
while in Pakistan it's usually called quargandal.
The fragrance
of these incense sticks is fresh and green, with a pleasantly sharp edge.
Stamford Aloe
Vera incense sticks are made in India, and come in a hexagonal box containing
twenty 9 inch (23cm) sticks, which burn for
around 45 minutes each, depending on conditions.
