Gugal is a tree resin, known by a variety of names including Gokul or Guggulu, Bdellium or Indian Myrrh. It's been used for centuries in India as a traditional ayurvedic medicine, particularly for the treatment of arthritis, rheumatism, and neurological disorders. Additionally, in Tibet it's prized for its ability to scare off witches and demons!
Poojan's Gugal dhoop sticks can be used to cure all inherent faults and ill-effects in Vaastu, the ancient Hindu tradition of space design, which is similar to the Chinese system of Feng Shui.
Poojan's Gugal dhoop sticks are made in India by the Poojan Agarbatti Works of Deesa, in Gujarat.
These Gugal dhoop sticks are rigid 1/4 inch (8mm) thick sticks with no wooden / bamboo core, and come in a box containing around ten or eleven 4 inch (10cm) long sticks (a total of 30g of dhoop), which burn for around 50 minutes each, depending on conditions.
Each box also contains a free dhoop holder, as shown in the photo.
