Chandan Dhoop incense
logs have been made by the Mysore Sugandhi Dhoop company
of Bombay since 1934, under the patronage of H.H. The
Maharaja of Mysore.
They are very highly perfumed and
are, to quote the manufacturers, "highly recommended
for all religious ceremonies and social functions in
Hindu temples, churches, musjids and agiaries, produces
very good fragrance."
Chandan Dhoop is a very pungent
sandalwood incense with a slightly musky overtone. It
very quickly fills a room with its distinctive
fragrance. Each log burns for about 35 - 40 minutes...
but its effects last MUCH longer!
