Pure incense 70's Boxed Edition - Pure Frankincense - 50 gram box
50g box of Pure Frankincense - one of the Pure Incense 1970's range
These Pure Frankincense Incense Sticks from Pure Incense come boxed in the new Special Edition 1970's boxes. These are designed with the heady and mystical days of the 1970's in mind. These bold coloured boxes with 70's style graphics reflect images of the times, as does this Pure Frankincense fragrance. The fragrance from these sticks is 'punchy' and noted by one of our customers as austere, whilst another praises its piquancy. Very authentic though and true to the base aromatic ingredient - delivering a classic church Frankincense scent.
The source Frankincense oil for these sticks is Oman - known for its very high-quality Frankincense resins. Presented as part of the 1970's series - evoking the scents common at that time (along with Sandalwood and Agarwood).
The 1970's range from Pure Incense includes Pure Frankincense, Classic Agarwood and Sandalwood/Super Chandan - all available here at Vectis Karma - along with over 60 other high-quality items from Pure Incense.
Frankincense is an aromatic resin obtained from trees of the Boswellia genus. Most is harvested in Somalia; with the rest coming from adjacent countries such as Ethiopia, Sudan, S. Arabia and, as here, Oman (for the best). It’s harvested by cutting or scraping the tree bark, which causes the resin to extrude and then harden. These hardened resin lumps are known as Frankincense Tears.
