Palo Santo is derived from the Bursera Graveolens tree, which is native to many parts of South America from Mexico to Argentina. Incense ingredient fans will note that this tree belongs to the same family (Bursera) as Frankincense and Myrrh. This is a popular ingredient for fragrant products such as massage oils as well as Incense. Palo Santo's natural aroma is reminiscent of baked apples or burnt sugar, with notes of Pine, Mint and Lemon. This is a good fragrance to encourage a calm atmosphere.
