Japanese Cypress fragrance Incense, refreshing and calming, from the Kayuragi family from Nippon Kodo
This variety of Nippon Kodo's Kayuragi Japanese Incense offers the refreshing and calming fragrance of Japanese Cypress. Burning this fragrance you should detect the notes of floral citrus (lemon) below the delicate woody top notes.
This incense is particularly recommended for meditation, relaxation and contemplation.
Known as 'Hinoki' in Japan, Japanese Cypress trees are considered to be of very high quality and often used in important/prestigious buildings such as temples (Buddhist) and shrines (Shinto). Also, as in this case, as an ingredient in superior fragrance products.
The sticks are packed in a Paulownia wood box, reflecting their superior quality. A small Incense Stick holder is included too.
