Baieido Jinkoh Junenkoh is a premium Japanese incense coil from Osaka, offering a richer and more complex fragrance than the classic Junenkoh coils. Made by the renowned Japanese incense house Baieido, this long burning incense combines Indian sandalwood with Indonesian agarwood, traditional spices and aromatic botanicals.
The key difference between Jinkoh Junenkoh and standard Junenkoh is the addition of Indonesian agarwood, also known as jinkoh. While traditional Junenkoh is centred around warm Indian sandalwood and spices, Jinkoh Junenkoh introduces a deeper, more sophisticated woody character. The agarwood blends beautifully with sandalwood, creating a warm and layered Japanese incense fragrance.
Cassia, star anise and clove bring gently spicy notes to the composition, while patchouli adds an earthy depth. The result is a distinctive woody and spicy aroma suited to meditation, relaxation, quiet contemplation or simply creating a beautifully fragranced atmosphere in the home.
Each box contains 14 large Japanese incense coils measuring approximately 8.5 cm in diameter and weighing around 10 g each. Each coil burns for approximately 8 hours, providing around 112 hours of incense burning time per box. The total incense weight is approximately 140 g.
To use Jinkoh Junenkoh, carefully light the outer end of the incense coil. Allow the tip to catch and glow evenly before gently blowing out the flame. Place the coil on a suitable large, stable and fire resistant incense holder or surface and never leave burning incense unattended.
