This incense features the fragrance of natural Cedarwood. This is a distinctive woody, spicy-resinous scent - and you're likely familiar with it already, as Cedarwood is an ingredient in many fragrance types and blends. Cedarwood is used as a natural repellent to moths and other insects; and in aromatherapy it's used to calm and balance energies, promote spirituality, clear up dandruff and cure urinary tract infections.
Cedarwood as an aromatic ingredient has a long historical tradition. True Cedar (Pinaceae) trees are native to mountainous regions of The Lebanon, Himalayas and around the Mediterranean. It should not be confused with aromatic ingredients from related trees such as Junipers or Cypresses – Cedarwood is rarer, more expensive and much bolder in strength and depth.
